About This Role

Sydney Thompson is an Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator within the Office of Innovation, Partnerships & Entrepreneurship at the University of Windsor. In this role, she supports the design, delivery, and growth of entrepreneurship programming that helps students, researchers, faculty, and founders explore ideas, build ventures, and connect with the broader innovation ecosystem.

What I Do on the Team

• Design and coordinate entrepreneurship programs, workshops, bootcamps, pitch competitions, and founder support initiatives.
• Support students, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs through coaching, mentorship coordination, and venture development guidance.
• Build relationships with campus partners, faculty, ecosystem organizations, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders to strengthen innovation pathways.
• Help develop new initiatives that integrate entrepreneurship into the student experience and support the University's broader innovation strategy.
