About This Role

The Innovation Administration Coordinator provides administrative support to the University of Windsor's research and innovation portfolio, and the coordination of research and innovation-related events.

What I Do on the Team

  • Provide administrative support in coordinating invention disclosures from faculty researchers.
  • Serve as first point of contact for faculty in matters relating to the University's innovation portfolio, providing frontline support, directing and answering inquiries.
  • Compile budget information, statistics, and other background material for various reports and publications.
  • Liaise daily with staff from various service units, including the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, Faculties, Departments, Public Affairs and Communications, Facilities, Catering, Finance, and more.
  • Train and assist with orientation, onboarding, and offboarding of co-op students and sessional employees.
  • Coordinate meetings and tours with outside stakeholders, industry and community members.
