About This Role

The Research Coordinator, Engineering contributes to strengthening the University of Windsor's research culture, reputation, capacity, and revenues through strategic identification, promotion, coordination, and development of research funding opportunities and faculty research awards in the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Human Kinetics and other Natural Sciences and Engineering (NSE) related disciplines. This role educates and supports researchers in the development and submission of research funding applications to assist in increasing the number and quality of applications funded by external agencies.

What I Do on the Team

• Educate, support, and guide researchers in the development and submission of high-quality funding applications.
• Provide pre- and post-award grant administration services and supports.
• Educate and guide researchers and University administrators on rapidly evolving provincial, federal, and international directives related to funded research.
• Foster and facilitate communications, collaborations, and research development of the research enterprise.
