Michelle Oliel is an international human rights lawyer, advocate, and educator living and working in the Netherlands. As Executive Director of the Stahili Foundation, a non-governmental organization supporting vulnerable children in Kenya, Michelle works with government to change care systems, end trafficking to orphanages, and reintegrate children into families. Michelle also serves as the Deputy Director of the Lori E. Talsky Center for Human Rights of Women and Children at Michigan State University College of Law. She spent a richly productive early career working in commercial law, in government, with the United Nations, and as a Legal Officer at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
