Young Philanthropist
Cessidia De Biasio is a young professional passionate about helping others. In 2014, Cessidia founded the Addolorata De Luca Leadership Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to first- and second-generation Canadians at the University of Windsor. To date, she has raised close to $50,000. She also launched the grassroots social media campaign Our Journey to Canada, which showcases Windsor-Essex residents’ immigration stories. One of Leadership Windsor-Essex’s “40 Leaders Under 40,” Cessidia is involved professionally and voluntarily with several local non-profits. She sits on the boards of directors for Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex and also volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House of Windsor.
