Corporate Communicator
Katharen Bortolin tells the story of one of Essex County’s most beloved organizations. In her senior leadership role as Manager, Communications and Marketing for the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, Katharen handles all internal and external marketing efforts for the first community-based palliative hospice village in North America. Equipped with an impressive arsenal of transferrable skills from her two UWindsor degrees, Katharen is responsible for strengthening the organization’s relationships with important stakeholders like donors, government funding agencies, community partners, and patients and families. In 2018, Katharen’s history of community leadership earned her recognition as one of Leadership Windsor/Essex’s 40 Leaders Under 40.
