Out of Province Students

The Student Awards & Financial Aid Office works in partnership with all Canadian Provinces in assisting them with the delivery of their student assistance programs to their students.  Although we may not have all of the answers for you, we will do our best to assist you wherever we can.

Many provinces will mail funding certificates directly to students.  Out of province funding certificates must be validated by the Cashiers Office. If you are eligible for grant funding to be issued in the form of a cheque, generally our office will contact you with instructions to pick up your funding from the Cashiers Office.

Please look at the dates on the funding certificates that are mailed to you.  If you send us your document too early, we may not be able to process it for you until the 'negotiation date' or the date on the document that indicates when it's valid.

UWin OneHub

As the University of Windsor begins its return to campus, the Registrar's, Student Awards & Financial Aid and Student Accounts Offices have been working together to provide students with a process to deal with services that cannot be provided online.  This has led to the creation of the UWin OneHub that will be open to students for a limited period of time in the Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre.

If you require a service that cannot be provided online with any of these Offices, you can book an appointment to visit the UWin OneHub located in the Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre.  Please remember that in order to enter the UWin OneHub space, you must have completed (and show proof of) the completed Self-Assessment Questionnaire available via the Safe Lancer App.  For additional information for the visiting campus protocol please visit the Return to Campus page.  Be sure to familiarize yourself with all of the protocols and download the Safe Lancer App prior to booking an appointment.  Be a safe Lancer and stay well!


Effective immediately, Student Awards & Financial Aid will only be accessible via email and on-line appointments as staff are all currently working remotely.  Information and updates will be posted to our website at as it becomes available.  Students experiencing financial hardship should email with a brief explanation of their situation and their request will be triaged appropriately.
