Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services provides a wide range of services to UWindsor's faculty, staff and students in support of the University's academic, research and administrative goals.

The information on this page is intended to provide an overview to help new faculty members with their technology needs and questions as they settle into their roles.

Visit and bookmark our Getting Started – Faculty resource page for future use.

Additional information regarding the technologies, services and resources highlighted below can be found in the UWindsor IT Self-Service Client Portal.

Prior to Starting:

Information Technology Services will be one of your first stops when getting settled into UWindsor. We will help you activate your UWin Account, set up your Multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods, prepare your equipment and devices, and provide training on critical cybersecurity efforts.

First Day:

On your first day IT Services is here to help you ensure you have the appropriate systems and software in place for productivity. We will provide you with access to a suite of Microsoft 365 Apps including Outlook, OneDrive, Teams and Stream. We will also ensure you are able to access myUWinfo, UWindsor’s gateway to human resource information.

First Week:

As the semester begins, we will make sure you have access to key University of Windsor systems to help you teach and navigate the UWindsor digital environment including Brightspace, UWinsite Finance, UWindsite Student and the Electronic Curriculum Vitae System (eCV).

Working on Campus:

In addition to getting your devices, accounts, and software ready, we can also help with other important technological tasks such as connecting to campus Wi-Fi telecommunications, printing, and classroom AV equipment support.

Whether you’re teaching online or on campus, we’re here to help!
