For applicants whose native language is not English, a satisfactory score on an English proficiency test is required.

Applicants are exempt from submitting an English language proficiency examination score if any one of the following conditions is true: 

  1. Within the past two years you have completed a university degree at a Canadian institution.
  2. Within the past two years you have completed a university degree at an institution where English was the primary language of instruction, as indicated on our exemption list*

  2. Scholarship average: 75% 

Bangladesh*:

  1. Admitting average: 60%
  2. Scholarship average: 70%

Pakistan:

  1. Admitting average: 60%
  2. Scholarship average: 75%

China:

  1. Admitting average: 75%
  2. Scholarship average: 87%

Nigeria:

  1. 60% (2nd CI. Upper)
  2. 70% (1st class)

Iran:

  1. Admitting average: 14/20
  2. Scholarship average: 17/20

Saudi Arabia:

  1. Admitting average: 3/4 or 4/5
  2. Scholarship average: 3.75/4.00 or 4.75/5.00

*India and Bangladesh: completion of both a Bachelor's (three-year) and a Master's or a Bachelor's degree requiring four years of study (e.g., B.Pharm., M.B.B.S., B.Tech., B.Eng., or B.Arch).

*Pakistan: completion of both Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in all disciplines except 4 or 5 year technical degree. e.g., B. Pharm.
