Tasks

Research team members will provide training related to the key aspects of conducting research, including selecting a topic, completing a literature search, critiquing journal articles, development of research questions, creating a research design, conducting data analysis, and research dissemination.

Throughout the project, research team members will provide mentoring to students by attending learning community meetings, being available in between meetings to respond to questions that arise and to review drafts of student work, and to guide students throughout their research journey.

Student tasks will include:

  1. Attending learning community meetings;
  2. Completing a related literature search;
  3. Development of a research design;
  4. Completion of a University of Windsor Research Ethics Board application;
  5. Conducting planned research;
  6. Completing data analysis;
  7. Developing a research dissemination plan; amd
  8. Disseminating findings to other students, the university community, and external audiences.
