- Students who started in Winter 2020 or prior and who are following regulations associated with academic years before 2020-2021, will be transitioned to the 2020-2021 academic year regulations in recognition of some of the changes that have been made to the requirements to receive and retain awards due to COVID. These accommodations are in place for the 2020-21 academic year only. Specifically,
- Minimum course load has been reduced to 60%. There is additional information for students with a documented permanent disability who are planning to take between 40% - 59% of a full course load.
- Students who did not attain the minimum average required to renew their award by the end of the Winter 2020 term, will not receive their award in Fall 2020 however, should their average after Fall 2020 meet the minimum average required for renewal, they will be eligible to receive their award retroactive to Fall 2020 and Winter 2021. These situations will be reviewed in early February or you may submit a service request via ask.uwindsor.ca once your fall grades are posted to expedite the adjustment.
